The Age Builder is a program that uses the V12 Engine. It includes a map editor that allows users to create their ideas for ages of the game Myst. I will also include a documentation on the editor on how to create basic ages, adding and manipulating objects, editor functions, and commands. The Age Builder also features multiplayer in which users may explore other ages. Multiplayer uses an auto-download system, however, that will only work correctly as long as the client has the textures and models needed for the age. It is also possible that I will include a few script examples of puzzles and linking books. The engine also included a Max plugin that exports to DTS, so users can put in new environment objects, buildings, etc. Below you can see the progress of the Age Builder along with many screenshots. You can ask any questons on the forums.
I've done quite a bit of interface work, next I'm going to make an options page so users can set graphical and audio settings. I'm nearly doen creating the age 'furyshahn'. It still needs more objects for detail and a few little fixes to the terrain. I've *started* working on the linking books, but they're requiring much more work than I thought, so I may have to get back to them later after I get a few answers I need. GarageGames has started(or at least I think) fixing the audio system to the engine, so the ages will be able to become more alive with tracks and soundcubes.
