Bill Kelley's Shaped back flex-mirror scope

 

Welcome to FlexMirror.com!

This is a site dedicated to the technology and just plain good manners of flexing a mirror into the shape of your choice rather than tormenting it into submission with a pitch lap.  This technique has a few founding fathers, including Bill Kelley, Alan Adler, and perhaps even Schmidt himself. 

I encourage you to try a mirror cell or two, and then send me some pictures and some descriptions (or a link address), to share your experience with others.   (I will let discussions remain on the ATM list.)  This web site is a place to   post helpful hints, near disasters, and stellar successes for others to learn from.  I personally suggest you try flexing an inexpensive commercial mirror first - and find out how easy it is!

This is a noncommercial site, it is named .com because no one had taken it yet.    I
