Konami announces Castlevania: Circle of the Moon sales numbers and a new game in the series.
 Castlevania: Circle of the Moon has shipped 500,000 copies in the North American and European territories, according to a press release issued by Konami Computer Entertainment Tokyo on Monday. The company also announced that it is currently developing a new Castlevania game. The specific platform for the next Castlevania game was not announced. However, since the announcement was made in relation to Castlevania: Circle of the Moon, the new game could also be in development for the Game Boy Advance.
