I owned a Yankee 30 for 8 years and thought it the best performing boat I ever owned. Can point very high and carry sail longer as winds pick up than similar sized boats. They built the boats in Santa Ana, CA and they were of the highest quality but they went out of business because the prices were too high. The engines are a problem but I put a marinized Mitsubishi diesel sold by Vetus in mine and it worked great. Check around. I recommend the boat highly as a go anywhere vessel. I think I have an original brochure somewhere. Good luck!
