Yankee 30 "Avante"

Avante is a Mark III with the earlier Mark III interior, which is owned by Jon Cizek in Newport Beach, CA. Note how the table is a tall box up against the bulkhead over the engine compartment. Jon, who is planning to head south to Mexico and beyond says, "I purchased Avante last year as Gene O. sailed his his new Serendipity 41(?) south to Mexico, then west  to points unknown.   I plan on following next fall. Avante is still moored in Newport where I live on her and am in the process of overwhelming her w/new topside paint, Schaffer R F, RVG vane, and some elect. I may be selling a few sails I have no room for. Visiting beautiful little anchorages on Catalina every chance I get.  Gene didn't lie, this is an incredible boat!"
