Message: I would like to hear from anyone who has any information or photo's etc on HMS Cockchafer (Gunboat) My father Richard James (Dick) served on board during the second world war. He will be 80 this year and I would like to present him with any memories that come up. Thanks.

There is a wreck off of Cyprus that is thought to be HMS Cricket (sister ship of Cockchafer). There are some problems with the fact it is the Cricket and the only real alternative is the Cockchafer.
