Subject: POW at Stalag Luft V1

Message:
My Dad, now aged 83 Years, asked me if there was anything on the 'Net" about the last War, and in particular Stalag Luft V1. (The Net is Foreign to Him) When this site and information appeared about POW Camps, he was visibly shaken, left the House, and without a word went off Home. I know he was a POW, but He never, ever spoke about His War experiences. My Dad Allenby MacLennan joined the RAF when He was 18 Years old, trained in Canada, and flew in a Halifax Bomber as a Navigator. (My Mum never spoke to me about His time as a POW) After all these Years, I guess this hit a raw nerve. Sites on this subject, much appreciated.
