4-H Awards Night

Fundraiser

November 19, 2-4:00 PM

We will be making "Brownies in a Jar" to sell to raise funds for our club. Anyone can participate by donating quart jars, lids & caps; helping to make the mixes and/or by selling them once they are made. Any help will be appreciated!


Officers Needed

At our August meeting, we elected the following officers:

Vice President-Bobby Hebert

Secretary-Morgan Mann

Asst. Secretary-Nicole Mann

Reporter-Heather Layton

Historian-Mashae Dyess

Please note that Nicole and Morgan will not be able to fulfill their positions this year since they have joined Forrest County 4-H.

The following offices still need to be filled. If you would like to run for one of these offices, please attend the November meeting.

President-Presides over meetings; plans meetings with advisor

Song/Devotional Leader-Lead the group in songs or prayer/devotional

Parliamentarian-makes sure the rules are followed in business meetings

Before deciding to run for office, please keep in mind that officers are expected to attend club meetings.

There are 4 committees that you can take part in also.

All meetings will be at 3:00 except where noted

May 2005 TBA-anyone interested in doing visuals or judging contests at Project Achievement day for juniors, Club Congress for seniors, non riding horse contests at the district or state horse show or poster art needs to attend this meeting.
