Dispatch: Fire and EMS are dispatched by the Sutton Police Dispatcher under the name "Sutton Fire Alarm" on fire frequencies, with the FCC license KDF-582. On county band radios Sutton Fire Department uses the name "Station 40" to conform with the standards for Worcester County. All radio communications are done in 'plain english', that is no codes are used with the exception of apparatus and officer designations.
