| | Scott Burns is an engineering professor at the
University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (U of I webpage). He teaches
courses in mechatronics, engineering analysis and design, and conducts research in the area of structural design and numerical
methods. This artwork is an outgrowth of research in visualization of numerical
methods and dynamical systems. He exhibits this artwork at several art fairs each year.
