Summary: I just needed to dislike her, for my own sanity.
When Leo McGarry's in the White House Summary: This was written before anyone’s even seen Election Day…hopefully it’s not totally off base. If it is, oh well. It’s a Leo/Margaret friendship story.

My own political commentary I suppose. In honesty, I’d rather be dealing with this problem than the one we’ve found ourselves in right now. Over 539, 000 votes that didn’t matter. Over 3,000 people we lost in a day. And one man who just won’t leave things alone.

the entire time Kells and I were watching Pretty Woman, we
were giggling at the comparisons of Edward and Leo. Also, because Lee said well written
smut was a necessary evil. (okay so I said that but she agrees
with me I’m sure)

I wrote the first part while watching the 1940 version of ‘Topper Returns’…it’s very cute, ya’ll should rent it! The second part during Cary Grant’s ‘Arsenic and Old Lace’, and the third was all Kells induced.
He tried not to make a habit of staring at women when at work. Somehow it just seemed tacky for the Chief of Staff to be gawking at a pair of long luscious legs. So he tried not to.
Margaret and Leo story. Born out of a conversation about the The entire story was written in about an hour, listening to Beethoven. Honestly…I replayed ‘Spring – Violin Sonata – Adagio
molto espressivo’ over and over and over again while writing this. It was to be one
of the most beautiful things I’ve ever heard. Try and find it if you can, I think it
makes the story more fun.
