Parramatta & District Historical Society Inc have released two journals. Journal No. 3 is actually a reprint of a 1926 edition and covers historical aspects of Parramatta & its people. It is 154pp in A4 format. List price is $12.00. They have also released Journal No. 7, a new edition.

The Hawkesbury Cemetery and Monument register have added Richmond, Richmond War Cemetery and Wilberforce, Wilberforce Park War Memorial to their website.

Forbes Family History Group have released new publications including: Monumental Inscriptions Eugowra Cemetery, Bedgerabong Transcriptions, Gooloogong Cemetery Inscriptions, Bogan Gate General Cemetery - 1997, Unmarked Burials - registered at Forbes not buried in Forbes Cemetery (Volume 2) and Back copies of Forbes Journal.

The Essendon Historical Society will be hosting a seminar titled "History of Postal Services and the Postmaster Generals Staff in Victoria". The talk will be presented by Guest Speaker John Waghorn.
As an added benefit, Postal Services Employee indices will be available for reference on the night.

David Beddie of Raby, NSW has announced that a reunion will be held for the descendants of James and Mary Melville.
Meet: Sunday 2nd May 2004 - 12 Noon.
Where: McQuade Park, Windsor, NSW
(Moses Street side, opposite St. Matthew's, Windsor)James and Mary Melville arrived in October 1838, on the " Mandarin", from Ireland.
