A reunion and family gathering is being held on the 29TH SEPTEMBER 2001 at ST. PETERS CHURCH HALL, RICHMOND, New South Wales to celebrate the marriage of ELIZABETH CELEY and JOHN ROGERS.

Elizabeth Celey arrived in Australia on the "Britannia" on 18/7/1798. She married John Rogers on 29/10/1798 at Parramatta. John arrived on the "Neptune" on 28/6/1790.

Their children were:

ELIZABETH who married JOB WILSON on 19/11/1814.
MARY who was partner to GEORGE TURNER.
CHARLOTTE who married JOHN BARWICK on 6/6/1848.

After John Rogers died in 1806, Elizabeth married ROBERT RICHARDSON on 10/6/1811.

Their children were:

CATHERINE who married BENJAMIN HANSLOW on 14/1/1828.
PETER who married ELVIRA TREE on 10/9/1838.
As well as ELIZA and HARRIETT.

Queensland Registry of Births, Deaths and Marriages has released two new microfiche indexes:

* Qld death indexes 1945-1949 ($60 + $6 GST)
* Qld Federation Index: BDMs 1890-1914 ($350 + $35 GST).

Note that the Federation Index is not yet available on CD-ROM.

MudCreek Software has recently released V1.05 of GENViewer.

According to the author, GENViewer is the fastest way to view and analyze your genealogy information. GENViewer is a Windows based application that is used to view and analyze GEDCOM and PAF 3, 4 and 5 genealogy files. With GENViewer, you can search and view dozens of files in minutes. A version which supports LEGACY files is available from Legacy's Website.
