Hi Group
I thought some of you might be interested to know about this. I recently found a very old recording my father made with his brothers and mother back in early 1970's. It was one of those magnetic tape "Voice Letters" that people used to send messages to one another instead of writing letters. Well no one knew what happed to the recording machine to play this tape so I found this chap Scott Thomas from Play It Again who has a good little business restoring old audio tapes etc. He was able to get the complete conversation on to a CD even though some of the tape was broken - he repaired it and I was able to hear my Grandmother speaking more than 30 years ago. This is a great way of preserving your family's history!.
