My ancestors were Jeremiah O'Brien his wife Johanna Ambrose and six children arrived on the sailing ship "Sir Robert Sale".
They were from Shannagolden...
I have been looking for years to find out parents names and exactly where in the area around Shannagolden, a cousin went there and was told the old church was burnt down.
