Bicentennial BLACKMAN Family Reunion Mudgee, Saturday, 15th December, 2001.
In Australia's Centenary of Federation the descendants of James BLACKMAN and Elizabeth HARLEY are invited to attend a reunion at:Lawson Park, Mudgee 10am Saturday 15th December, 2001 To commemorate the arrival in Australia of James and Elizabeth BLACKMAN and their family on the 14th December, 1801 on aboard the ship "Canada".
In the program of events, there will be an unveiling of a Federation Plaque donated by the Mudgee Council at 3pm at Blackman Park, Mudgee.
To make this reunion a success could you please notify as many descendants as possible.
We would appreciate a donation to help with the financial costs of hiring the "Home Rule" Bush Band to play in Lawson Park from 11am to 2pm at a cost of $400, and other costs associated with the organising of this event such as postage,printing etc.

The Mudgee Historical Museum will be open all day Saturday.
