FOOTBALL 419 - George Amachukwu

This lad's passport 'disappears' after the usual fun and games. And he's not happy about it.

Dear Sir

I'm not sure how you came about my email address but I am not in a position to help you with this particular offer.

I am normally associated with assistance, donations and good will to sporting teams in need and I guess that is how you came by my contact details on the internet.

I hope you find assistance in your endeavours, or indeed if you did represent a sporting club and I misunderstood the request please feel free to come back to me.

Dear George

I will be more than happy to look into this matter for you.

Up front though I will need to know more about you.

I would appreciate it if you could provide me with a portfolio of your
career and details of your current club.

What position do you play, height, weight, age?

I need as much as possible in order to present to other clubs your worth.
Indeed if I am not satisfied by what you say then I will let you know
you are wasting your time.  [But maybe I'll waste your time anyway!]

Best of luck to you.

Sincerely,
Simon Potter.

Dear George

Those certainly are the minimum requirements that we expect of those we
offer a trial to.

And indeed I would like to offer you a trial at our club. This will
depend on approval by our league HQ however.

I can send the application on your behalf but I will need you to do a
couple of things for me.

1. Sign attached application form, scan, and email back to me.
2. Print out attached club logo and have your photo taken holding the
logo. Scan, and email back to me.

I will then send both items to league HQ as part of your application
process.

I hope you understand all the above and I look forward to being able to
help you further.

Regards,
Simon Potter.

Dear George

I think standards must be different in your country to ours, but we ask
the question simply so that when put you up in a dormitory we know what
to expect.

Where possible we shall room our trialists with like-minded people.

In essence we need to know whether you are gay, bisexual or a breeder,
or if you have some other minority desire.

Thanks,
Simon Potter.

Dear Son

We are ready to arrange your stay with us. Before you do you will
require your passport stamped with a work visa.

You will need to deliver the relevant passport to -

Deputy High Commission
11 Walter Carrington Crescent,
Victoria Island

to have it stamped accordingly. Please put it in an envelope
addressed to Mr Gordon Bennet and leave at reception with of course your
  address and contact details enclosed.

He will know what to do.

Once this is done we shall get your flight organised.

Regards,
Simon Potter

I've attempted similar before with Olu Aina, Ebuka Ugonna and Murphy Badmus with varying success - so let's see if I can get this guy to dump his passport at the High Commission.

Dear George

I am so sorry for the massive delay in this. Firstly I had trouble talking to anyone useful involved with this - what a way to run a country - I don't know!!!

Then I had a riot at our academy I had to quell - all the novices were protesting over being locked in at night (I hope this doesn't bother you George - we have enough trouble makers here already) and so I've been very busy with the peace negotiations.

Finally though I have discussed at length the problem and now it is time for you to return to the High Commission.

I was wondering what happened to you.

I don't take kindly to being accused of being a thief. I tried to help you but you were too stupid to sort out your passport at the embassey. I set up everything for you - child's play it should have been but you went and messed up the whole procedure. I have had complaints about your behaviour come all the way back to me here in Cardiff. They were not impressed with you.

Anyway, it is not my fault you lost it. Please stop these silly allegations.

As a sign of good faith, and if you have managed to relocate your passport, perhaps we can try again.

HE  ASSURED  ME   THAT  YOU  WILL ASSIST  ME  TO  GET

Sir

I am getting very tired of your pointless accusations and stupidity.

Firstly what are you angry at? I have not taken any money off you nor asked for any.

Secondly, even if I had the FBI would not be interested. They are a USA federal agency and you and I are British and Nigerian respectively. It is quite simply out of their jurisdiction and interest.

So enough of the false threats, please!

Regards,
Simon Potter

Well he's gone quiet again.

End.
