Dear Sir
I'm not sure how you came about my email address but I am not in a position to help you with this particular offer.
I am normally associated with assistance, donations and good will to sporting teams in need and I guess that is how you came by my contact details on the internet.
I hope you find assistance in your endeavours, or indeed if you did represent a sporting club and I misunderstood the request please feel free to come back to me.

Our club would be more than happy for you to visit our junior academy to
see if it is to your liking.Basically we can sponsor a trial period of one week here. If we think
you are good enough you can stay on and we can arrange a local school
for you here as well.Ultimately we will need your parents' written approval for this but
firstly indicate your interest and we can discuss further.Do you think such an opportunity would be to your taste?

Dear Ebuka
I do apologise for my delay in responding to you but I have had a very trying time yet again. My cat Fluffy died recently and I have spent a lot of time and money organising the funeral which was held yesterday. You will be glad to hear of course that it was a beautiful service and all the players and coaching staff of ACFC were in attendance to pay their respects.
Now that my mind is back on more mundane matters I will get back to your trial invitation.
Please expect my response in a couple of days.
Regards,
Simon Potter

Dear Ebuka
Once again I apologise for the delays in organising your trial. As you well know it has been a difficult time for me of late but I have recently been working behind the scenes to get you a trial.
It is time now to point out to you what has been going on.
You will recall I am sure that I have frequently asked for a photo of your father holding our club logo in regards to your application. Always he is away and unavailable for this task.
I have tried to use your family photo for this purpose but as your father is listed as your legal guardian I must have his photo with the logo.
It is no good to just send me a plain photo of him.
Please attend to this task at once as we are running out of time.
Regards,
Simon Potter
A long time goes by and no response and I think he's given up. But then...

Dear Young Master
It is a pleasure to hear from you again. I hope you went well in your exams.
You know your exams are much more important than playing football and I hope you give your studies serious consideration as I am sure you do.
In any event now that the work is over it is time for some fun and I hope you have thought about your application.
Remember I still need to see a photo of your father holding our club logo to complete your application.
I hope you are forthcoming.
Regards,
Simon Potter
However despite the resurrection he does not reply again, so ...

Dear Young Master
I am very much appreciative you are finally taking your career seriously and we are now nearly ready to complete your application.
The quality of this photograph is not very good though - it looks like your father is holding up a blank piece of paper.
Could you please either re-scan or retake the photograph so that it is evident the logo is clear.
