8:10 PM New Sections
I added sections for the GBA and FOMA versions of FF1, and added a couple of things to the FAQ. I'll be working on maps & such for the new dungeons in Dawn of Souls, but I'm not sure how long that will take. I've got an update to my FF1 version differences guide that's almost finished, I just need a couple of more things. So is there anyone out there that can provide me with either cheat codes or a game save with all the items for the Japanese version? Anybody?

5:04 PM Poll
Final Fantasy 8 won for least favorite FF. I'm not surprised. It's not my least favorite, but I wouldn't put it at the top either. I'm happy to see that FF4 "lost". FF4 may not be everyone's favorite FF, but almost nobody put it last. Discuss? The new poll is up, be sure to vote in it.

2:40 AM Argh.
There's been some hosting difficulty. Things should be okay now, but if something's missing email me about it. Also I must note, no host is permanent. If you want to link to this site, link to fforigins.com, not to Prohosting.

10:56 PM FF1 & 2 for GBA
Holy crap! Did you hear about this? The Japanese magazine Shonen Jump has reported that FF1 & 2 are coming to the Gameboy Advance. (Wow, they just love packaging these 2 games together.) Seems FF1 is getting a new dungeon called Soul of Chaos and FF2 is getting a new story called Soul of Re-Birth. Looks like the graphics will be the same as the WSC and Playstation versions. New gameplay features include a proper MP system for FF1. Read about them here and here. This once again brings up the question: Where the hell is FF3?
Oops, seems there was some human error involved in yesterday's update. It's fixed now.

9:25 PM Fan Journal
For the first time, we have a journal submitted by someone who isn't me. Check it out on the White Mage Journal page.
Once again, some Final Fantasy news you've probably already read a thousand times before at other places: If you preorder Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles (for the Nintendo GameCube) at a participating retailer (GameStop, EB, Wal-Mart, etc.) you get a free GCN-GBA link cable thingy. I needed one anyway, so good deal.
