Why should you vote for me?

1. Have you looked at the other candidates lately? Aren't you tired of the same old political BS?

2. I'm independent of the standard Democrat / Republican ties, favors & rhetoric.

3. I detest more taxes & government waste.

4. If you keep electing the same old parties, you are going to get the same old results. (DUH!)

5. I'm conservative on economic issues and liberal on personal issues. (I'm not confused; are you?)

6. The prime purpose of Government is to self propogate and expand, and my purpose is to minimize that.

7. Unlike most politicians, I have a sense of humor.

Occupation: Business Owner since 1982. Tax Accountant.

As Legislative Chair I was instrumental in bringing about self government to the tax profession.

What’s the job of the Controller of CA?
As State Controller my job is to cut waste, oversee spending, budget and keep the State books in balance.

Top Priorities if Elected
2% Reduction in Top State Tax Rate
Higher Standard deduction for each taxpayer
Formation of private businesses to replace inefficient and un-economical government organizations.

State Controller's Functions

Account for and control disbursement of all state funds.
Determine legality and accuracy of every claim against the State.
Issue warrants in payment of the State's bills including lottery prizes.
Administer the Uniform State Payroll System.
Audit and process all personnel and payroll transactions for state civil service; exempt employees; state university and college system employees.
Responsible for auditing various state and local government programs.
Inform the public of the State's financial condition.
Administer the Unclaimed Property Law.
Inform the public of financial transactions of city, county and district governments.
Administer Property Tax Postponement Program.
